It was important to the society to retain a mature wordmark that would also appeal to younger members of the community. This logo mixes traditional theatre values with a fresh and contemporary outlook. It feels both stylish and mature, but with a hint of fun – referencing the visual pun of the byline 'Musical Theatre on Queen'. By combining sheet music elements into a crown shape, we have created a distinctive and memorable icon. Black and gold come together to create a premium look, referencing the theatre shows of yesteryear.
